Explore market data and order workflows with separate paper-trading accounts. All paper-trading commands are under futu sim.

Paper accounts

All paper-trading commands are under futu sim. List paper accounts first, then specify an Account ID and market:

futu sim account list
futu sim account funds --account "YOUR_PAPER_ACCOUNT_ID"
futu sim position --account "YOUR_PAPER_ACCOUNT_ID" --market US
futu sim order list --account "YOUR_PAPER_ACCOUNT_ID" --market US

Submit a paper order

Submit a paper limit buy:

futu sim order buy US.AAPL 1 --account "YOUR_PAPER_ACCOUNT_ID" --market US --type limit --price 180

WARNING

Paper orders are submitted directly to the paper account without --execute. If --account is omitted, the first returned paper account is used. --market defaults to HK; explicitly pass US for US queries or trades. Paper account selection does not use default_account.
