Company and news queries
Some commands use --view or --type to select a data category:
# Get a company profile and financial statements
futu company HK.00700 --format json
futu financials HK.00700 --view statements --format json
# Get historical capital flows
futu capital HK.00700 --view history --period-type WEEK --format json
# Search news and community discussions
futu search AAPL --type news --format json
futu search AAPL --type community --format json
# Get analyst ratings
futu research HK.00700 --type rating --format jsonRun a stock screen
Start with the CLI's built-in default conditions and retrieve up to 10 results:
futu stock-screen --limit 10 --format jsonThe following command spells out the same default condition so you can adapt and reuse it. Pass the JSON as a single argument. This example uses Bash / Zsh syntax:
futu stock-screen \
--screen-queries '[{"simple_field_query":{"simple_field":1,"screen_value_list":[1]}}]' \
--limit 10 --format jsonThe stock-screening API defines field numbers and enum values. Confirm which market or metric a number represents before creating custom conditions. This example only reproduces the CLI default.
| Option | Purpose |
|---|---|
--screen-queries | JSON array defining screening conditions |
--retrieve-queries | JSON array selecting returned attributes |
--sort / --sorts | JSON object / array defining sort rules |
--limit | Page size; defaults to 20 |
--next-key | Pass the returned next-page cursor unchanged to continue |
Check the returned items against the conditions, then inspect pagination. An empty result does not mean the command failed. When a next-page cursor is present, the current page is not the full list.
